This run-of-river hydropower scheme in Pakistan suffered a collapse of the outlet tunnel shortly after watering up.

Geo-Design were commissioned by insurers to carry out an independent assessment of ground conditions and site records to determine the cause of collapse of a section of the outlet tunnel. The tunnel was located under moderate to high cover in variable rock mass conditions.
