Michail graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010 with a degree in Civil Engineering and recently completed an MSc in Environmental Design of Infrastructure Works strengthening further his background. Currently he is combining his PhD studies in Experimental and Numerical Simulation of Tunnel Openings with his work as a Numerical Analyst for Geo-Design.
Michail is a specialist in the use of advanced numerical simulation software for the analysis of rock engineering projects. He has analysed caverns, tunnels and high rock slopes all in a variety of rock masses including weak and bedded sequences. He is very experienced in the use of Itasca software and especially in UDEC, 3DEC and FLAC.
