Admiralty Integrated Station is part of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system located on Hong Kong Island, connecting the Tsuen Wan line with the Island Line and South Island Line. The station was built on the former site of the Hong Kong naval dockyards in the 1980s and underwent major expansion from 2011 to 2016 to accommodate links to the South Island Line and East Rail Line.
Geo-Design were involved in early planning and investigation stages of the expansion works and later also in the tender design process for the expansion – providing detailed geological and rock mass models for the basis of project risk evaluation, outlining excavation sequence and rock stabilisation design for the large underground station complex.
