Geo-Design (UK) undertook an investigative assessment of a rock slope failure adjacent to a low-rise residential development. This included geomorphological mapping, trial pits, supervision of cored boreholes, outcrop mapping and rock mass characterisation. Geological and rock mass models were developed that were used in subsequent stability evaluation and development of design concept alternatives.
